Pork Belly Bites

Say yes-way to our scrumptious Pork Belly Bites.

Pork Belly:

  1. Start by rubbing white vinegar over the skin of the pork and wiping it dry

  2. Roughly score the skin and massage oil and salt evenly over the top

  3. Season the bottom of the pork (how you like - we use Vegeta and Chinese Five Spice)

  4. Place in an air fryer on 200 for one and a half hours, for roughly 1.2kgs of pork

  5. Serve with fresh herbs, cucumber, lettuce cups and dipping sauce

Dipping Sauce:

  • Thai Basil - 1/2 bunch

  • Coriander - 1/3 bunch

  • Juice of one lime

  • Shallots - 1/2 (half)

  • Garlic - 1 large clove

  • Spring onion - 1 sprig

  • Red chilli - half, or to taste

  • A good dash of sesame oil

  • Fish sauce - 3 tbsp

  • Toasted rice (ground) - 3 tbsp

  • Salt & pepper to taste

METHOD

  1. Finely chop all herbs plus the shallot, garlic and chilli

  2. Mix in a bowl with the toasted rice, fish sauce, lime juice and sesame oil

  3. Season to taste

  4. Enjoy!
